I got the chance to experience a trip around the Texas Motor Speedway track in a 1SS version of this car...

a truly awesome beast.

i remember dealer markups back on the first available Miatas, as well as when Mitsu brought out the 3000 GT Vr4 ( I sold them both at the time ). Someone wants the first pick of the litter, they'll pay the extra price. I would never; I can wait a bit longer for a car to get the color and features i want, at a price i can accept.

Wanna see dealers sweat? don't buy one, that'll get the cost back down! Or if someone does now, then don't complain about the pricing.

I'm still not sold on the design; never owned a 69 ( mine was a 70 1/2 ) but spent plenty of time back in the day in first gen Camaros. I just wish the style was more retro and less Caddy ( my opinion only ). I think the Challenger may have hit the retro mark closer, but their V6 can't hold a candle to the one used in the Camaro. Now that we're living in SC, I may just wait until a drop top becomes available.
