I am wondering how much older model C5 convertible vettes are running in your area I am think of maybe purchasing one and maybe get rid of the GTO for one with a 6-speed and the Z-51 suspension option

I have always had a soft spot for C5 vettes, Z06, Z51, base, they are all great. I believe not too long ago I was searching through craigslist in Ca and came up on a 100K mile 6spd C5 frc for something crazy low like 14k. Needless to say that there are alot of standard c5s going for 17-18 now in Ca with 60-80k miles. The convertibles seem to be around 20-22k. I'm still seeing C5Z06s for 25-30k though, man I would love to get my hands on one of those.
too bad the z06 only came witha hard top I am looking for something that I can cruise with the roof off and now that the summer season is done I am just seeing if their are any good deals out there. nice Z06 BTW
fwiw, my buddy was looking at early c5s and found some with high miles that needed minor cosmetics like front bumpers and headlights and rear bumpers for 11-12k
I just serched my local craigslist and found a 94 ZR-1 for sale I know it not as refined as a C5 but ever since I remeber I always wanted one so I will give it a look thanks guys for your responses
