Thanks. I mean overall living environment, community, property value growing potentiality? I am interested in a new house on 127 street, southwest of the golf course. Is it wise to buy a property of about $600.000 here?
Thanks!

Bolingbrook has a lot of offer in terms of grocery stores, restaurants, strip malls, and movie theaters. It's also close to Naperville, which has a great downtown complete with free parking garages, a river walk, stores, shops, and bars.

I would say no, if you can afford 600,00.00 you would be better off buying a home in Naperville. Their property value is higher than Bolingbrook's, also the taxes are lower on property. You may get more for your money in Bolingbrook. But the long term Naperville would be better. The community wise Naperville is more conservative but the living environment is better.
Google search "city compare" and it will give u all the info. on both. Good Luck on choice!

If you want to live in Bolingbrook, stay in the portion that attends Naperville Schools. I know there are several developments near 111th west of Weber Rd that are in school district 204. Stay in that area.

Bolingbrook is the "bomb"
awesome Mayor....great government, wonderful investment,
what idiot thinks Naperville is a better community?
Taxes?
Please....
who is zooming who?
Naperville is filled with snooty people with no furniture and too much house.
I am so amazed at the fiction on this site.
Everyone has their opinions.
Just drive the town. Very well planned.... alld evelopment on outskirts of town.
Naperville is hystericall., one large building in the middle of nothing., gangs and drugs both.
I guess it all depends on who you are and what you really know.
Bolingbrook is awesome.... spent ten years there and want to go back but just not sure I could afford it anymore.
Oh well...

Bolingbrook
My in-laws live in Bolingbrook- and I am pretty familiar with the area. As with most cities, there are good and bad parts of town. I'd reccommend staying North of Boughton Road, or in the newer communities off of Boughton- West of Rt. 53. Good Luck!

Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook is the best planned community I ever worked in.
As I mentioned before, I spent almost ten years there and continue to visit friends and keep up with the ongoings there.
It is an awesome location with diversity in everything from prices, people, home values and community interests. Tons of family groups and events,
Plenty of upscale homes and awesome areas in Hidden Lakes or by the golf course as you apparently have money. There is alot less crime and drugs in Bolingbrook than one would ever see in the surrounding areas.
Naperville has seen it's day and very poorly planned.
You will love Bolingbrook and just call the Mayor...he'd be happy to take you on a tour!

Not really the safest highschool. My dad stopped teaching there almost five years ago because of how "dangerous" it was getting. Metal detectors aren't put in schools necessarily as a precaution, it is because there is a reason for them to be there. Constant fights in the hallways, my dad (a teacher) even got knocked down by someone. Going toward Naperville is wise, or just live in Naperville.
