What's with the lack of rentals in Morton Grove?
Are there just no rentals available in Morton Grove? I've kept an eye out for Morton Grove rentals over several years, and compared to other towns...you just can NEVER find Morton Grove rentals. (We prefer to rent over ownership - been there done that.) Is there some sort of law about that in the town or something? It's like...weird.

Maybe. South Holland prohibits multi-family housing. Evergreen Park has quite a number of apartments, but few condos. Just 3 small condo buldings, two of which are quite old and somewhat run down. No formal prohibition, but the village wants to discourage multi-family housing.

There are not many apartment buildings in Morton Grove and many of the houses are SFH.
