I like that salt creek barbecue that is on randall and wilson I think? (by the menards) in Batavia. Pretty good pulled pork there. It seems to do a good business and has been there for several years now.

Yes, I agree. My husband really likes Saltcreek, also. Hoping to find other restaurants, too!

Any others in Naperville, St. Charles, Geneva?

Thanks.

There's a new place downtown AUrora right across from that new irish bar. IT's called Comfort Zone BBQ, I believe they were in Oswego prior to moving here. Chicago Tribune just did a write up on them in the play section the other day. Looks pretty good, Im going to be checking that out tonight.

Famous Daves is the best in the Fox Valley area hands down. You can taste the smoke wood flavor in the meat.

I don't like the sauce that Comfort Zone uses.

Gematos don't care for them also, but they do make a killer gyro.

Famous Daves just seems too commercial, I like the type of place where its more of a bbq joint, make their own sauces on site, only serves pulled pork and ribs nothing else.

There's a good place in Plainfield called Baby Back Blues like that, right off Rt 30, a little out of the way but awesome bbq.
