That depends. If you want one of the country's largest shopping malls in your backyard, decent schools, you don't mind cookie-cutter houses, and you like chain restaurants, then yes, you'll love it. If you want a town with a downtown area, easy access to Chicago via Metra, independent stores and restaurants, and don't want your house to look exactly like five others on your street, then no.

I live in schaumburg and it's real quiet. If you are a suburanite, then yes; but if you want nightlife and culture, then go to Lincolin Park or Gold Coast

Quiet is not a word I have ever heard used for S'burg. Its a busy hub with tons of strip malls , huge Woodfeild mall and amazing traffic with busy busy roads everywhere.

Default Schaumburg is worth it!

Yes Schaumburg can be quiet. There is more to this community than retail and traffic. Perhaps those who do not realize this cannot afford to live there!

This site was dug up from months ago Why ? Because you think Sburg is quiet??? Yes,we are jealous that we dont live there. I dream of someday living by the Woodfield Mall and Olive Garden. Seriously,if you like it,and its "home" to you,Good for you.I am glad you found your place.Thats what most of these forums are about-people seeking a place to call home, and different strokes for different folks. We all have different ideas of the place for us. Not everyone likes Sburg. That does not make them snobs
