I'm a 26yr old male from Naperville, I'd like to learn Spanish somewhere in my area, anyone know of a good school or whatever to learn it? I would like to learn it for personal use and also my employer recommended I learn it.

I need a place where I can take weekend classes since I work 10hrs a day during the week 4pm-2am. If anyone has any suggestions it's appreciated.

You beat me to it

Or just skip all of that and buy the Rosetta Stone program at Borders or Barnes & Noble for 2-3 hundred bucks

I'll look into College of DuPage, but I'm not sure if I'm welcome back, I was kicked out of there 6 yrs ago for poor attendance for 2 yrs in a row, I wasn't that mature back then and missed like 300 in 2 years (only showed up 4-5 times).

I also looked into Rosetta Stone this week and I have seen a lot of mixed reviews, I need something that works, that's why I'm kinda looking for a school, I'm not saying Rosetta Stone doesn't work, but the reviews make it questionable and I have not met anyone who has actually used it.

If you don't need the class hours, you could audit the class or take it pass-fail. There are also plenty of other colleges nearby where you could take Spanish if you want to stay away from CoD, though they'll be more expensive: North Central, Aurora University, Waubonsee, Benedictine, Wheaton, National Louis ...

I agree with above COD will allow you to take classes if you've been kicked out as long as they are not going to be accredited. COD also has an excellent foreign language program and might be just what you are looking for

I'll be there in just a few weeks - we're moving there - and I have a degree in Spanish; I tutored from the time I was in grade school through college - various subjects, including Spanish. What level of fluency are you seeking? Are you looking to be able to work with Spanish-speaking coworkers or subcontractors? I'd be able to help with that, easily. Let me know if you are interested, and what your budget would be. I could work around your schedule - could help you with other subjects too. (I've tutored chemistry, math, spanish, economics, marketing) I also used to work for Kaplan, one of the best-known tutoring companies in the world.

Try Mango Languages | Learn a Language, Learn Spanish, Learn Chinese Fast

Taking a course in school (unless it's an intensive language school) is no way to learn a language.
