Wondering if anyone has advice regarding parking at the Tinley Park Metra on south/oak park. Relocating in the area in June and very much would like to utilize this station. But, have been told there is a year to a year and a half wait for a permit. Any other options? Perhaps local businesses rent spaces? Appreciate your advice.

I did this in Berwyn. Drive around the station pull into the lots and look for signs. I saw the sign in Berwyn because I walked by it everyday and I needed a better option than city parking. Sorry, I don't know about capacity in Tinley.

I think 80th avenue has more parking than downtown Tinley Park.

There is pay per day parking at the Oak Park ave. station. If you got there before 7:30 am you should not have a problem getting one. The cost is I think $1.25? 80th ave has a ton of parking so you would not have a problem there.

Downtown Tinley's Metra looks packed all the time, so yeah I'd have to agree here. Plus, there's a sign on 80th Ave. that displays how many spaces are left I believe.

Thank you everyone. Looks like 80th avenue is the station for me until a permit opens up at the Oak Park station.
