I am looking for preferably a house or town house to rent and have noticed the prices are astronomical. I am looking for a 3 bedroom that accepts cats as pets for under $900. I have been looking inbetween the areas of Countryside all the way through to Joliet, even as far as Bolingbrook. I know that Joliet is divided....there are good areas and there are crime-ridden areas. That's all over I guess....but the problem is I cant seem to find any houses or apartments for that fact under $1100. Does anyone have any suggestions where to move and what the rents might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A 3 bedroom for less than $900 in any part of Chicagoland is going to be a tall order. I know someone who has rented 3 different houses in Joliet (and even in some shadier areas of the city), and it has never been less than $1200 between three of his room mates.

To be honest, even traditional 2/1 bungalows in Joliet are still $900-$1000.
