Default Lombard area?
Hello: Can anyone give me some information concerning the Lombard Area? I am not quite certain of the correct spelling of this area. Please correct me if I am wrong. Have a friend interested in that area. I understand it is approx. 20-25 miles west of downtown Chicago. Thank you.

Yes, its about 25 miles west of downtown. Lombard is a decent place, alot of college-kids seem to live in and around College of DuPage, if thats anything to you. The rest of the town is mixed races and seems to have alot of families. Youre close to excellent shopping in eastern Lombard and Oak Brook, as well as close proximity to Naperville and Wheaton. Most homes are older, but not bad. Lombard is decent, Id give it 5 out of 10 stars if I could.

Lombard is nice. It is up and coming. All the people that grew up in Elmhurst and Hinsdale and have gotten priced out of those towns are moving to Lombard. Great location for shopping and jobs.
