Is that in Skokie Evanston? If it is, that is a very nice neighborhood. I grew up around there, and it is still very nice. Family still ones property near there. Neighborhood is safe and status quo for many years. Enjoy. it is a very central location.

Generally safe, though I believe Coach Ricky Byrdsong was murdered there in 1999 by a Neo nutzy.

We lived near there on Drake Avenue and we felt very safe. The neighborhood was diverse and there were lots of people out and about.

It is not in Evanston, although it is part of the Evanston school district. It is in a very pleasant part of Skokie. If you are looking for the Evanston "snob appeal," it is not quite right, but otherwise fine.
