Navy wife moving to Schamburg area with child (Schaumburg, Washington: daycare, live)

My husband will be stationed in the middle east for a year and I need an apt for me and baby in the meantime. This would be for end of Dec to First of Jan. I will be finishing my degree in the meantime. Safety is my biggest concern and $ of course. Any suggestions would be helpful as we are in Washington state at the moment. Daycare etc. Thanks!

Hi navydust,

I lived in Schaumburg while I was a single mom with a 1-2 yr old and we lived in International Village. It is a little pricey, but it's relatively safe and I liked it.

Also, for daycare, I have a GREAT in-home daycare reference that I can check on openings for you, if you'd like. The provider is certified, trained and she is WONDERFUL. If you want to send me a private message through here I can give you her web site and information.
