Default Anyone from North Barrington?

I posted here a while back thinking that we'd be able to move to Evanston for slightly over $500k....but no house we found comes close to fitting our needs. So we settled on a lovely Colonial home way up in North Barrington, in Biltmore. Anyone out there from North Barrington? If so...How often do you get in to Chicago? My husband is commuting to Rosemont. Do you have a similar commute? Is it a burn-out? How do you like the area? I look forward to your replies.

i now live in Barrigton Hills, but we used to live in Lk Barrington, close to you.Biltmore is a nice area, hilly, heavily wooded, nice around the Country club and lake.We hit the city at least every month or so,,either by train,or the Kennedy, just avoid it at rush hour.Rosemont is like going to Ohare, which we have done more times then I can count.I think you'll be alright as once your past Rosemont(,by Arlington Hts,),it eases up,even at rush hour, the heavier traffic is further towards the city.Welcome to Barrington,I hope you enjoy your new home

Thanks for your thoughts, Nanannie. Any suggestions for a good route to Rosemont? I understand there are several options.
