Anyone from the far western burbs of DuPage here? Anyone see this movie or have any thoughts on the origin of this old folklore?

I'm born and raised eastern DuPage and a true crime buff. Recently due to some research on DuPage cold cases, I found an old 1913 murder of a Tango Dance instructor from Chicago found on some railroad tracks in the tiny suburb of Wayne. I wondered if this old murder was the origin of this folklore on Munger Road.

Anyone see this movie and know how long it will be playing in the area?
It's rated PG 13. Would you consider taking a 9 yr old boy who might be interested in some scary movies, but not too scary, for Halloween? He was ok with watching some of the old stuff Svengoolie plays and the old black and white version of House on Haunted Hill. (and Shrek, is pg 13 too).

Thoughts?

haven't heard about the folklore surrounding this "Munger Road" movie, until recently and I grew up in st. charles. the movie is currently showing at the movie theater in the Charlestown mall. You can read quite a bit about it in the Kane County Chronicle
