If I had children I would not put them in a U46 school. Too many drugs, crime, gangs, etc.

You are correct, Don. I grew up in Streamwood and went to U-46 schools. They are horrible! I got out as quickly as I could and have never looked back. Stay away from Streamwood, Hanover Park, and for grins- Bartlett. Bartlett is by far the nicest of the three, but too close for comfort. Don't agree? Just take a walk there after dark, you'll see.

That's too bad about Bartlett. I live very close now (Keeneyville/Roselle) but don't go in often and not usually at night. I was going to move to Bartlett about 13 years ago and I liked it alot. I knew others that lived there then and they liked it too. The homes I was looking were on huge pieces property, which was nice for me coming from my 40x140 city lot in Harwood Heights. One reason why I didn't move then was because everything seemed to shut down after 10pm. No twenty-four hour grocery store, etc.
I am really sorry to hear this about Bartlett. It always had a special place in my heart...but now I can kick it out of there! Now I'm freeing up some space for someplace OUTSIDE of Illinois! Illinois: Home of large government, constant corruption and tax tax tax! Can't wait to leave!

Some parts of Hanover Park are in the Schaumburg Township and have district 54 and 211 schools, U-46 was crap, is crap and shows all signs of remaining crap.
Enjoy your homes outside of Hanover Park, just remember U-46 is where your kids will be attending school.
