Hello There-

I am thinking of enrolling my three year old to Goddard School in 104th on Naperville for 5 days a week full-time. The tuition is around $1385. I am looking for inputs if somebody has any wonderful experience with Goddard as it is such a pricey school. There are not that many good full time day care centers in South Naperville around 104th.Other option I had was Creme-De-La-Creme in Romeoville , which is around seven miles-10 min trip from home.

Anybody out there to give me some inputs.

Thanks..

What did you decide? Has anyone given input on Day Care options in the Romeoville area? I leave less than 5 min from Creme de la Creme but I just want what is best for my child. The child will be 3 months when it goes to daycare in Oct.

If you truly want what is best for your child, you should stay home with your child. No one is going to care about your baby as much as you do. I couldn't imagine leaving my 3-month old baby with a stranger for 9 hours per day. I would sacrifice whatever it takes.

Wow, that's super helpful and not at all true and I'm a stay-at-home-mom. My friends have their daughter at Creme in Romeoville a couple days a week and she loves it there. She was at a different center prior to that, but they made the switch after about 6 months and couldn't be more pleased. These "strangers" become family to a child when they are in the right environment. Good luck!

I didn't bother replying to RomeovilleGirl, who posted more than 2 years ago.

I targeted my reply to Romeovillemom, who posted just yesterday concerning her s-month-old.

I agree with you that I have no idea what her situation is. But the poster stated that she "wants to do what is best for her child." Best would be to stay home with your own child. Second best would be for a close family member (grandparent?) to stay home with the child.

A distant third would be to leave your 3-month-old in a day care center.

I dont have any close family here so leaving the baby with them is not an option and staying home with the child is not an option at this time either (I cant afford to quit my job even with the cost of daycare.) We are looking at Creme de la Creme because it is the most convienent but I am also interested in Primrose (currently being built in South Naperville) and Kensington School (Currently being built in South Naperville.) I like the idea of being able to stop in anytime during the day since it is close to both work and home for me. However I am more concerned about the teachers and the facility than the location.

I have heard positive things about Creme from a friend who had her daughter there. She really liked it, though her child was not an infant. I remember being shocked at the cost. Hope you find an optimal caregiving situation. Just a thought, have you considered a nanny? The cost of Creme vs. a nanny may be comparable. Much success to you!!!

Our son is at Kensington and we love it there! Had him there for two full days when I was pregnant and now he's in the preschool program.
