In this article, former Prime Minister Tony Blair fails to come clean to the public on whether his son received the MMR vaccine (therefore it is widely assumed his son did not get the jab).

Almost by definition, if you find a pediatrician like this, they will not be a good one.

Vaccination is so fundamental to the practice of medicine, that any MD who ignores it is inherently untrustworthy.

Leo Blair did receive the MMR. I'm not sure why this would be relevant to the debate, as it took place well before Wakefield's research was debunked.

I agree that some vaccines are needed but I also believe that they need to be administered on a different scale. I see a doctor who follows an alternative vaccine schedule and it works well for us. I think it is beneficial to have the shots spread out versus pumping a 2 month old with an overload of vaccines. For example, my doc gives the MMR at 24 months instead of 12 months. We get all of the important vaccines but skip a couple of the minor ones like chx pox and hep B. I also do not get flu shots. My children are home with me al day, if they were in day care I may feel differently.

If someone wants the name of my doc, who is highly regarded send me a private message.

Highly regarded by whom? You?

And you 'believe' they need to be administered on a different scale because why? All the clinical trials you have done? You're extensive clinical background in immunology? Or because you just feel it in your gut?

A physician who doesnt adhere to the recommended schedules (if he is actually 'highly regarded') is either just trying to make you feel better by pandering or doesnt have the cojones to tell you what he really thinks.
