A trollish newbie who is seemingly frustrated by the politics of the State and Cook Co. Not sure thought because poster vents with a mile wide bruch instead of attempting useful, adult dialog.

Vasily had good post, but I would NOT rent in Rolling Meadows. I would rent in or near downtown AH so you could walk to local attractions and shopping.

lol .. yes there are many things I am still not sure about, but one thing I am sure of is that I won't be renting in the suburbs. I would rather deal with traffic in the afternoon (as I think I will miss most of it in the morning if I go in at 7am) than live somewhere close to work and be bored out of my mind.

And that's the advantage of renting. If it doesn't work, you can easily (relatively speaking)move.

You will definitely want to be AT work by 7AM to avoid any traffic. I used to work in the newsradio business so I know my traffic :-) Also, I lived in downtown Arlington Heights in my late 20s for a few years and I loved it.
