Runuova, How about you trying to improve your community and not relying on the slavery argument. Last I checked I am not a slave owner nor was ANY of my ancesters. So how can I improve my area? I'll raise my kids with a proper moral code/compass and tell them it's not what happeded in the past but the FUTURE that matters and you can control.

For the record, no one mentioned slavery except for me. I attempted to answer why blacks may be having a tough time in a mostly caucasion society. As I have mentioned before, most answers given by blacks concerning black behavior on this site is usually deemed to be "race baiting" or drudging up the past. As a person who has had no other alternative but to live as a black male, maybe my opinions not so far fetched.

I wonder if Obams's mommy ever told her son that he can never make it cause it's a white mans world and your ancestors were slaves? Or just maybe she told him like all parents should that you can be anything you want in life even president of the United States. What if Barack had the slave attitude that you say and never reached for the stars? Gosh I'd hate to be Runuova's kid growing up being taught how this is a white mans world and you will never make it because your ancestors were slaves.
