Default Maybe You Know More Than We Do?

Perhaps you can enlighten us as to what it is all about? In the Chicago area, we have the Burlington Northern, Santa Fe Railroad system (BNSF). Other than that, I really don't know what you are talking about. Do you care to share more information with us?

BNSF opened a large "logistics park" on the site of the old Joliet Arsenal in 2002. The Arsenal was an enormous military ammunition facility. For safety's sake, there was a great deal of surrounding vacant land. The LP covers only a very small part with a good deal of park land and a new national cemetery separating it from Elwood, the nearest community. I don't know of any impact to the area aside from adding several thousand high paying jobs.
