From Belvidere I would say about an hour in rush hour. Maybe a little more than that from Rockford and Roscoe.

Default Perhaps A Good Choice?

From memory, there are several tolls on I -90 between the Rockford area and Hoffman Estates. Other than that, I think your choice would be good.

Also consider Cherry Valley, IL and Genoa, IL...that are somewhat near Interstate 90. The choice is yours, but I just bring up the other two towns as an favor for you in case your are not familiar with those areas. No extra charge here, since talk is cheap. So that's 'free' and I don't charge for it.

i do the drive quite often, though never really in rush hour.

from belvidere to HE on 90, that is about 30-45min depending on the exit.

belvidere exit to where i live is 50 min, and i'm 15-20 to HE, again, depending on the exit.

out of the towns you mentioned, belvidere will be the shortest drive, where Roscoe will be the farthest ... though Roscoe is beautiful, expecially in the fall with all the hills and trees.

from the Wisc border to the Woodfield area, there are 4 tolls.
1) near Roscoe (South Beloit) .50
2)Belvidere .80
3)Marengo .80
4) the exit you get off at. .25-.30

and double that if you dont have IPASS.

any idea wher in Hoffman you will be commuting to?

**Edited to add..... the times i posted are NOT for rush hour.... just normal travel times.
