Wow, can we keep find even more ways to bring up Obama?
It is Mrs. Clinton not Ms. Clinton.

It was strictly for comparison. In modern English, it can be Ms. or Mrs. </topic>

In what dictionary is that in? Huh?
I have never heard anyone with an education use Ms. instead if Mrs. to describe a married woman.
Perhaps rules have changed. I am not aware that they have however. Can you show me some evidence that Ms. is widely acceptable for a married woman?

Many many married women prefer Ms. I believe that Hillary is anond them, since she took Bill's last name only to help his career.
From "Living History"
The winter after Bill’s defeat, a few of our friends and supporters came to talk to me about using “Clinton” as my last name. Ann Henry told me some people were upset when they received invitations to events at the Governor’s Mansion from “Governor Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham.” Chelsea’s birth announcement, also featuring our two names, was apparently a hot subject of conversation around the state. People in Arkansas reacted to me much as my mother-in-law had when she first met me: I was an oddity because of my dress, my Northern ways and the use of my maiden name. Jim Blair joked about staging an elaborate scenario on the steps of the Capitol. Bill would put his foot on my throat, yank me by my hair and say something like, “Woman, you’re going to take my last name

Why does she not use her own last name now then???
If she prefers Ms. then so be it. But I have never seen nor heard any concrete evidence that she does at this point in time.
The Ms. thing is a feminist creation.
If a woman tells me she prefers Ms. I will abide by that. But if I know a woman is married and uses her husbands last name I will continue to use Mrs. until I know or am told by her otherwise.

I think that any and all are correct. I would never address a woman of my mother's generation as "Ms", but I know women that are offended to be addressed as "Mrs." It is a matter of personal preference.

Well thats fine, once I know I have offended I will switch to her preference, but my default is Mrs.
I think this is more of a recent development. I do not think it has become really widespread until the last two decades.
Maybe I am old fashioned.
