Brisklaw is on a distinguished road
CA emigres should hopefully not support grating liberal policies in their new locales which caused the ruin they are now fleeing. I know that in places like WA and OR, many CA newcomers have been criticized for fleeing crapola, multi-culturalism, etc. yet ironically still supporting the policies that created the wreckage they fled!!

Brisklaw: Once again, we are not from California. We were both born and raised in the Midwest, in suburbs of Detroit.

I'm not going to get into with you, so I will just say that trying to blame California's problems on liberals is ridiculous. I posted our update in order to reconnect with the wonderful people on this thread who helped me in the first place and to have our whole story on here so that people who log on to read about different places in which to live would have the full picture.
