Hi everyone, I am little at a loss. I am in the first stage of my move to Chicago. My first priority would be to find a job. I already have a place to stay once that happens. Any ideas out there? I have been looking in the newspapers and local job search sites. Nothing yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Are you looking in a particular field? What town will you be living? The commutes can be long here, so you want to look in a certain radius of where you will live. Have you listed resumes on Monster or other listing sites? That can open some doors. If you are a college graduate, many alumni associations have branches in the Chicago area. That is a great way to network. After you answer the above questions, you will probably get more specific advice.

Are you moving to Chicago or the burbs? If you are moving to the city, you should have posted there.
