I'm planning a move from Chicago to LaGrange. Is it true that the elementary and middle schools in District 102 (especially Ogden and Cossit) are better than those in District 105 (Spring)? Thanks!

Spring Ave Elem is the only District 105 school that is better than District 102's schools. But you definitely want to avoid the middle school in District 105, so yes, District 102 is better.

And 106/La Grange Highlands trumps both districts. You would have to live outside of La Grange proper, however.

Unless you live in the Country Club neighborhood, west of Brainard and south of 48th St.
