Very much my experience in the 20 years I have lived there. I have read some of this posters other posts and she decribes herself as angry and cynical. Also she was on the Boston thread and said she doesnt like Boston accents. I think this speaks volumes for her experiences in Barrington, dont you ?

If she wants to move to Long Grove, when is she asking all those questions about Western Springs on another thread?
Interesting that she now qualifies where she lived as "Lake Barrington". Not really a representative slice of the areas, its mainly (Nanannie correct me if I'm wrong), lake Barrington shores (a semi retirement community) and Wynstone (a golf community with million dallar homes). I wouldn't look for young families or liberals at either place

She said "IF" she moved back to that area she would look at Long Grove. You are right that LBS and Wynstone are in Lake Barrington, but its a large area with alot of different sub divisions and n'hoods as well.

Really, all of them? Some of them must live in some other communities. BH's population isn't large enough for all of them.
