So a trying to figure out where to live when I move out of my parents house (maybe this summer). I currently work in Bedford Park which is only about 15 minutes from where I live now. Some people that I work with actually do live in the city and do the commute but I am not sure that I want to do that and double or triple my commute just to live in the city. So I was thinking somewhere in the south/west suburbs would be best to stay in a good distance to work. I am hoping to find something that has a little but of a nightlife (im an not crazy but like to go out an sometimes). And maybe some some other people around my age and its not just all families or older people. JUust not sure where to look and looking for some advice?

I agree Berwyn is a good idea. Doesn't have a ton of nightlight but honestly if you're only talking about going drinking once or twice a month or something like that it wouldn't be too large of an expense to cab/Uber there are back to Oak Park or downtown for that matter. Your commute to work would be quick - perhaps 20 minutes? If you want even closer you could consider Garfield Ridge which is actually part of Chicago but a safe, more community-like area. There are a lot of families there, but also some young people. Rent shouldn't be too bad, and you aren't worried about school quality so that's not an issue.
