Default What Can Evanston Do?

Everyday when I drive to work in Schaumburg, I either drive westbound on Church Street or westbound on Emerson Street. This area has seen some regentrification, particularly the intersection of Green Bay Road and Emerson. There is a new mid-rize condo building, some renovated homes, and some loft conversions. Most of Emerson west of Green Bay is still left untouched. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what could be done to improve Evanston as a community? Also how can we improve these neglected sections of Evanston?
