I am hoping you might be able to help me or suggest someone that can. I have natural rock in my front lawn about (30%- 40%) that I want to get rid of it so I can have more grass. Landscaping companies have not bee very helpful with how to get rid of it. So I am hoping you might be able to direct me to how to get rid of it or to someone that would take it. It is natural rock (river rock). I am located in Mokena, IL if that helps. Thank you.

You will either have to get rid of it yourself or pay someone to do it. If you tell the landscaping company to put sod in you'll see how fast they agree to do it. They won't if you just want the rock removed.

Right, I am perfectly aware those are my options. How do I get rid of myself, can not exactly put out by the curb. And no all landscaping companies will remove it if you are putting down sod or they want to me on top of it. is that common?

My landscaper will haul away stuff. You have to find one that will pull it out and take it away.
