I am a new grad , have taken a job in Westchester and am looking for a place to live--I am narrowing down the areas and could use some suggestions--I am looking for a safe area that's not too quiet and nightlife nearby. So far I have been looking for a sublease in the Wriglyville area, but sublets are few and far between so I want to expand the search area but don't know where to go from here. I' m looking for a sublease because my limit is 700-800$/month, which I see won't get me far without roommates. Please help me!

How are you planning to get to work? Driving?

That commute would be pretty brutal from Wrigleyville.

Living in the burbs would not be as fun as the city for you, if you are a Wrigleyville type, but maybe you could find something in your price point (studio or even 1 bedroom) in Forest Park. Live near Madison St., not too far from Harlem so you can get on the expressway to drive to work. Madison St. has a lot of restaurants and pubs, and there are other young folks. Forest Park has easy access by car and train to the city for other outings. Oak Park is nearby and has some stuff.
