Default I hope this helps

This is a link to the area's local newspapaer "The Southtown Star" also known as "The Daily Southtown" of which changed names when it merged with "The Star" in late 2007. Anyways, here is a good link for you for apt listings. :: Classifieds ::

And for the paper itself go to The SouthtownStar

Lastly I wanted to give you a little heads up on some areas that are safe, yet affordable to drive around in and check out when you are here. Look in an area from La Grange Road on the east side to West Ave on the west side and from about 155th Street (Centenial Park) on the south end to 143rd Street on the north end in Orland Park. That area is loaded with apartments and is right in the center of EVERYTHING. The Metra station is about 4 blocks away; located at 10400 W. 153rd Street Metra / Orland Park - 153rd Street Station Information and also at the intersection of Southwest Highway and 143rd Street Metra / 143rd Street Station Information. Both you could ride a bike to if you wanted to and there is always parking available in either of the lots. That is the "Southwest" service line for Metra.

It sounds like Tinley Park is a good area, but we're having a hard time finding a place online, we are currently out east so we have to find a place via the internet. Thanks in advance for all the help!
For that price range I would go to Palos Park (#1) and Palos Heights, East of Harlem and North of 127th (#2). Unless you would consider an awesome townhome community in Palos Park (The Commons), set in dense woods so you have a very secluded feel yet its across the street from Palos Hospital and a 2 minute walk to the Metra for quick access to downtown activities. Also a 10 minute drive to Orland/Tinley shopping. Great schools too! The townhomes arent quite as expensive...about $400K and up.
