And they're kind to small animals too. Anyway, back on topic, Naperville used to be somewhat of a "Dodge City" to the rural portions of Kane and DeKalb County. Since there wasn't much to do out west, people would come in from the fields to Naperville's bar and restaurant scene. Rugged farmer types that I'm sure a lot of young single women would find attractive.
That's tempered somewhat as Sycamore and DeKalb have developed and replaced the soil with tract homes, strip malls and other developments. Naperville is now a more family-orientated suburb. Less of a regional draw than it once was. That's great but I can't see that as particularly single friendly, at least in the way City neighborhoods are. |
