I raised 4 children in the Village of Spring Grove and we moved to this town from Northern California wherein, as my oldest son pointed out " there are more kids in the 8th grade here than in that entire town". It proved to be a good move. The schools are excellent with a lot of caring people serving on the various school boards. All the homes are on a minimum of an acre of land and the Village is run by a good, caring group of trustees. There is much more now in the area of shopping than there ever was...Spring Grove has a Jewell Food Store and a Walgreens. Other shopping is about 7 minutes away in McHenry. You will be happy in Spring Grove and your children will thrive.
