Tinley Park Slayings (Bryant: crime, live, shopping center)

TP had only 1 murder from 1999-2006 and 4 on Saturday. What do you make of this?

A crazy and random act of violence. That shopping center is brand new and right off of the I-80 expressway where any crazy person can just exit off the expressway and do something stupid like this and hop right back on the expressway and practically disappear. Many people in that area have already complained about this shopping center being in such an odd location, right off the expressway.

In addition, for being a brand new shopping center the stores are skimping on security. That Lane Bryant store did not have any security cameras in the store at all. That is a shame and there is no excuse for that.

This was a botched armed robbery. I feel terrible because I know the mother of one of the victims. Her mom previously was my secretary.

From what i understand the low life that commited this crime got away on foot. I don't think the mall being located by I-80 is much a deal.
