If you post your town has the "number 1 schools", most people would like to know who says so. I would suspect that most people who are moving here want some facts with personal opinions, certainly in regards to schools for their kids.

District 211 (Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Conant, Palatine, and Fremd high school) is a very good district for high schools and the grade schools are great as well. For this area being a resonable place to live your child will be in a great school.

Ok then, you said "one of the number 1", and I still say, Who says so ? I still say, most people would like to know the facts on schools for their children and not just the statement I see all the time on the threads "we 're (one of the) number 1 schools".

I attended Dist. 214 and my kids will attend Dist. 211. Along with Dist 54 they are all known to be very good schools. If you are talking about the best Fremd is always near the top on lists but then you have New Trier, the magnet schools, etc.

Can't go wrong with 211, 214 and/or 54.
