Default Need info on Cary, IL

Hi there,

My husband and I are considering relocating from Highland Park to Cary with our 2 children, ages 1 and 4. Im looking for any info anyone has on what it is like to grow up in Cary. I am especially looking for info on the schools. High school specifically. What is it like? I cant find any info on the net so I dont know if it is decent or not. Also, preschools.

If there is anyone living in Cary or who used to live in Cary, im looking for the pros and cons to the area.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Check those threads out. General info on Cary. You'll get more responses if you ask more specific questions - but hopefully those threads will get you started on a feel for the area.

Good luck!

Here is a link to the Illinois state report card:

Interactive Illinois Report Card

High school depends upon which area of Cary you live in. Most but not all attend Cary-Grove.

One of the nicest areas of Cary is Trout Valley, a municipality in itself. Homes are unique, older, on big lots. There is a community pool, stables, boat launch, gardens and on and on. Even if you prefer ewer construction, this is a neat area to drive through.
