I drove through the southern and western Chicago suburbs a few years ago on the way back to the Twin Cities from Indianapolis. I thought we would never get through them, even though the traffic was moving fairly well. I havent read all the posts, did anyone say Niles yet?

I actually think the Twin Cities metro has over 100, if you count the ex-erbs in Carver and Sherburn county, as well as over into Wisconsin. The census defines the whole metro as 13 counties all the way up to St. Cloud (which I think is a little much).
