My wife and I started to do some serious house hunting the last few weeks and really likes Oswego. We plan to spend up to $450K. Can somebody recommend some sub divisions that we should look at and/or avoid. Are there major differences between the east and west sides or north and south? We have 1 child on the way, so schools are very important. BTW, we are an gay couple (if this matters).

We've seen homes in Southbury, Church Hill, Farmington Lakes, Ashbury Place. Please let me know your thoughts on these in particular, if you have any.
