A real rarity in Chicagoland is a high school district with only one high school. Even rarer is a high school district that always had only one high school never operated at more than one site

There are only three that I know for sure although there are a few others I suspect

These are the three I know for sure:

Evanston
OPRF
Stevenson

Ones I suspect but am not sure:
H-F
R-B
Lake Zurich

Am I right on last three? Are there othets? (Does not count if part of a unit district)

One site at a time or are you saying have never moved sites? Or multiple campuses, or only one school in the district?

Riverside Brookfield is the only HS in its district. As far as I know there have never been additional High Schools in 208.

I think Ridgewood Highschool in Norridge is the only HS in its district.

York in Elmhurst and Fenton in Bensenville I think are single HS districts.

You've named a couple, but also Evergreen Park, Lemont, Reavis, Argo and Oak Lawn high schools operate as single school districts with a separate feeder elementary school district/districts.

Isn't York HS part of a CUSD?

R-B is correct. I believe Distr. 96 is the elementary district.

Barrington 220

All 220 district elementary and middle schools feed into the one 220 high school. All students residing within the boundaries of the town of Barrington feed into the one district and into the one high school.

I have heard this particular set up is indeed a rarity, and IMO, a social and academic/curriculum advantage...

That is a unit district. I think the OP is looking for a single high school as its own district.

Ok, it is not a single high school in its own district. However, there is only one high school in this district and it never operated at more than one site.
