I would hardly say it is diverse. I would think that if these people want to find somewhere diverse their best choices are in the city. I have not seen anyplace in the suburbe that is diverse where the people actually do anything besides tolerate each other. In fact, in most suburbs peopls don't tolerate each other in general. My sister lives in Hyde Park and if you want a diverse population that gets along and doesn't have problems with each other, this may be the place.
If you want to make friends with people in the neighborhood the suburbs are not the place. Unless you call saying "Hi" and waving friends friends.
