any long islanders out there who now live in chicago area?
just wondering if you could tell me a little about the transition from long island, ny to chicago. im thinking of moving there. (P.S. - NYrules, i know ur from NY, but you;ve told me enough lol)

Hey now!  Actually from here, moved to CA, moved back, moved there (NY), moved back, moved to Bloomington/Normal, moved back. OH WHAT FUN I'M HAVING! Just like the Sinatra song Chicago; everytime I leave it's (Chicago) tugging my sleeve...

No joke. I heard it might be as high as $3.75 a gallon this summer!  Thank goodness I have a small tank, or else Id spend myself broke with my driving habits.  It cost me $30 to fill my tank on Friday night, normally costs me anywhere from $23 to $25.

I have an suv and its $65 last time to fill er up. But that was at $3.11 a gal??? I think?
