Default How is the drive between Minooka and Matteson on I-80?

Looking at Minooka to live for a few months while working on a job in Matteson...wondering about the commute time. Thanks

Talk about an ideal commute! Zero congestion, whatever time mapquest tells you divide it in half.

Sometimes traffic can get a bit backed up going thru Joliet, but otherwise, it probably is the best commute in Chicagoland. 80 (west of the Tri State) is the one highway that is usually pretty uncongested, even during rush hour.

We just moved to Elwood, and commute to Hazel Crest and Olympia Fields for our jobs. I'll take i-80 over any other expressway anyday! Morning commutes have been a breeze. However, on the commute home, if there is an accident around the joliet exits during rushhour, that can back up all the way past Tinley Park (at the harlem or lagrange ramps). Over all, though, the I-80 commute can't be beat.
