Default Glenboro North High School????

Does anyone know whether it's possible to visit and take photos in Glenboro North High School, without being a student???
some parts of the school were used in the movie Breakfast Club such as the entrance door, easily spotted in the movie...

Never heard of "Glenboro North." I presume you mean Glenbrook North.

Not sure, but you may mean Maine North. It's a now-closed high school where much of the Breakfast Club was shot. Out in DesPlaines or Park Ridge. Actually here's a link I just found: Maine North High School - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Glenbrook North in Northbrook, Illinois was used for the movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'... those are most of the scenes that are recognizable. For instance, the stairs leading to the performing arts center, etc. 16 Candles and other films were shot in and around Northbrook - which in John Hughes refers to as 'Shermerville' - the old name of Northbrook way back when. John is the guy that made all the films and grew up in Northbrook. There are tons of scenes around the north shore, including Lake Forest, Highland Park, etc.

He got the name Shermerville from Shermer Road. Which Glenbrook North is located on. It runs from North Glenview through Northbrook's Downtown.

yes I knew that...too bad they didn't let you in to take a few pics...
what I don't understant in US is how come a Nation whose movies are world globe famous do not make money by
letting people visit some of these locations...

People are sick and tired and fed up with DisneyLand! They wanna go to places where they can feel the atmosphere of their favorite movies...

The same goes for Camp No Be Bosco in Blairstown NJ, where the legendary Friday 13th was shot!!! They do not let you in either...!!!!
