What's a decent neighborhood in Bolingbrook? Is Sherwood Commons good? Some of them are priced so low, wonder why. Any good areas close to 75th st in Bolingbrook or Woodridge? Thanks

If the property is zoned to Bolingbrook schools that's why! The area South of Weber that's zoned to Plainfield schools is much better.

There is actually an area that borders Naperville and goes to Naperville schools. It is off Royce road, which is close to 75th street. Not sure what your budget is, but you should look in that area if you want to stay in Bolingbrook.

The other option is anything south of Boughten and west of Weber. A lot of those areas are new and most go to Plainfield schools. There are other pockets that are decent too, but if possible stay out of Bolingbrook schools when there is an option to go into 202 or 203.

Yes, but still is assigned to Bolingbrook schools which are not good! I think Pioneer elementary is rated ok, but the High School is terrible! I did forget about that little nich off Plainfield/Naperville Rd near 111th, that section does go to Naperville schools district 204.

I guess it’s no big deal if the OP does not have kids, but for resale schools matter! But to answer the OP’s question that’s the main reason why the homes are so cheap.
