Hello, all. I'm a transplant from Homewood to Chicago. I lived there for 27 years, and still attend church in the area. I'm curious as to know what's happening in my home town. I've enabled responses and welcome your thoughts. Thanks!

What do you mean by "still stands in remote"? Is lincoln square mall still there?

Homewood is doing well with more awards for schools and park district. Property values are growing, haven't slowed like so many other areas, new shopping community events, "movies in our parks" for instance, lots of family recreation... We're doing great!
