Off from another thread discussing Western Springs, La grange area about homes, where are apartments set up in the following towns:

(starting East of Downers Grove-West of Berwyn-North of/and including Willowbrook-South of/and including Oak brook)

Western Springs
La Grange
Brookfield
Westmont
Hinsdale
Willowbrook
Oak Brook

The main reason why I asked is some posters are noting some communties are more residential/homes and don't offer apartment/condo areas. I was doing a search and found certain places with apartments but not others. I wondered if those in those areas can give me and others an idea of what's available and what interesting facts people know of this.

Thanks.

In Western Springs and La Grange there are apartments and condos along the railroad tracks. In Brookfield there are apartment buildings in random places throughout the town. Also, you didn't list Riverside but it is west of Berwyn and has tons of nice apartments and condos along the railroad, many of which have been renovated within the past few years.

Along the railroad you are going to have a lot of train traffic. Be sure that doesn't bother you before signing any lease.

Yeah, but it puts you right downtown and a quick train ride to the Loop. Property near the Burlington is more valuable than away from it, and rents are higher, too.
