Default feeding the unfortunate in Robbins Ill

We started this grass roots ministry 2 years ago feeding the homeless and people in need in Robbins ILL. We started out with 50 box lunches and since then we serve around 200 box lunches. All the food is purchased , prepared and served by us every Saturday at noon at a liqour store on 135th between Kedzie and Pulaski on the north side of the street. Every month we get more and more people showing up for food and clothing. At this rate we cannot financially keep up unless we get some help from somewhere. We would like to have a shelter so we can serve out of the weather. We serve outside no matter what the weather. Please join us or help us. You can reach me at mtaff52@yahoo.com

i live in robbins and i have been at that liquor store (Shampa's Liquor) on a few occasions when u guys have shown up with food and clothes. and it was winter time, freezing outside! Now i must tell u that some of your efforts are being exploited. I want to offer my help and support in any way i can. first i would like to offer you advise by tell ing u to stick to the "women and kids first" rule because the truth is SOME of the men will take the food and/or clothes and try to sell them for drugs and/or alchohol. Not all of the men do this but some do. Also I wanted to tell u that i have some clothing and some canned goods available now and will continue to take donations if you guys could pick them up once a week or so. I dont live far from Shampa's and wouldnt mind helping
