Hopefully the cougar does not venture here to Glencoe!

Wow....a cougar was shot in Chicago, so I guess it ventured pretty far...assuming its the same one. Does anyone else think this is incredibly weird and crazy?

I suppose if there is one there has to be others. Be careful when you venture outside!

Not really. I have seen them and coyotes before. I actually drove by the scene at about 7pm but did not realize what had happened. They waited a bit before the press was allowed to report on it.

Avengerfire, Are you absolutely sure? Possibly bobcats? May I ask where you saw them exactly?

The one that was shot and killed was poosibly the same one spotted up in the north suburbs. Hard to say. Possibly one that some idiot tried to make a pet. Anyone with half a brain would know they do not make good pets.

I believe him. Theyre quite common down in MO and in places in MN. Theyre migrating this way, Im willing to bet that in the next 30 years they will be pretty common in IL too. Southern IL has many confirmed sightings.

Soon. Soon.
