Default Full-day Kindergarten programs around Willowbrook?

Does anyone know of any full-day Kindergarten programs offered within 10 miles of the Willowbrook area? We're looking for a non-religious program. I checked into Kindercare and wasn't impressed, to be honest.

Thanks for any input!

The vast majority of folks that I've talked to find the best compromise is regular free half day kindergarten with paid daycare for the other half. Not really much cheaper, but the kids get used to the school and you determine if the district is all you hoped for. In some towns busing is kind of a hassle...

The majority of non-franchise day care is affiliated with a religious group but they don't make a big deal out of it most places are run it more as a community thing...

I don't know if Elmhurst is more than 10 miles from Willowbrook, but there's Elmhurst Academy that serves babies through kindergarten. Kindergarten runs from 8:50am until 3:45pm. Tuition includes all snacks, lunch (they have a chef on premises), and before and after care. The school opens at 7:00am for before care and stays open until 6:00pm.
It is not affiliated with any religion. It's an Emilia Reggio approach (similar to Montessori but more structured). All teachers have at least Bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education. The school is located on Lake Street, right by 290.

Check out Creme de la Creme in Westmont - excellent full day kindergarten program with before/after school care included if needed. Not cheap, but a wonderful education!

Unfortunately, Elmhurst Academy is too far for us (15+ miles), though they seem to have quite an impressive curriculum.

Sniffy - I have an appointment with that school this week, and they still have openings. Thank you SO much for the tip!
