Default Walking In Evanston
I am a single graduate student coming to Evanston next week. I will be staying with a friend near Main and hinman. I am goin to be walking through Evanston to search for an apartment, mostly in the area bordered by Davis street, dodge avenue, south blvd and sheridan road/forest ave. Is there any place i need to be careful or avoid? I will be doin most of my searching in the morning and afternoons on foot.

csette663 is on a distinguished road
the areas you mention are all downtown and very safe, esp. during the day. Stay very clear of south Evanston.
